New to Old
The Millennium Footbridge stretches from the Tate Modern across to the north bank of the Thames and St Pauls Cathedral, a brightly lit beacon of historical importance on the ever-modernising skyline of London.

The Bridge of Sighs
Not really the Bridge of Sighs, but the Second Severn Crossing. I tend to sigh when crossing it as invariably I'm heading towards a course in Cwmbran and a few days in the Holiday Inn. I had this spot in mind to get a nice sunset shot with the blue skies and clouds, but give n that it's March this was never going to work and could barely see the other side of the Severn let alone the blue skies.

Linda
Experimenting more with the lights and trying to make a more dynamic and interesting image, Linda kindly agreed to come and be the model/guinea pig for an hour or so and we came away with this shot we both liked very much.
With the black background this was the gridded beauty dish on the RX4 at about 50% power, positioned left of camera at 45ยบ to Linda, the fall-off on her shoulder was natural. Tried using the Speedlight to put a catchlight into her hair but it will definitely need a snoot for that, but pleased with this regardless.
Scored 18/20 in the BCC POTY 2014 Round 6 - Open.Underground Mini
First time using a car rig - good fun, although a little bit scary to have that value of camera attached to a carbon fibre pole, secured by suction cups.
This shot was made was in the bottom level of the Sainsbury's Car Park at The Hub in Milton Keynes, a deserted area late on a Saturday evening. Taken at walking pace but the effect is just as good. Two images used for this - one had the Mini sharper, the other had a great background with the zebra crossing. About 8hrs worth of cloning went in to removing the rig from the shot!
