Lumsdale Falls
Lumsdale Falls are a series of waterfalls cut into the limestone surrounding Bentley Brook, and amongst the ruins of numerous old mills now owned by the Arkwright Society. I took this shot from the site of the old Saw Mill, which is mostly gone now but some walls still remain. I want to return here when I have much more time to explore and photograph the old ruins and the water.
This was a long exposure shot with just a polariser attached because the tree cover darkened the ambient light sufficiently to get 25s at f/22.
